Boucle d'or by Louise Berteau
Boucle d'or is a brand of jewelry designed and hand-forged by Louise Berteau in her workshop in Brussels.
Louise is renowned for her ardent passion and tireless dedication to designing jewelry that is both bold and refined. Her creations are crafted with a mastery of traditional jewelry-making techniques, such as the precious lost-wax method she learned during her years of jewelry studies at Arts et Métiers in Brussels.
Her inspiration comes from nature , the vastness of the galaxy and the feminine grace in each of her gestures, giving birth to sinuous, sensual, sometimes surprising curves, which fold into true poetic reveries. Louise cultivates curiosity and enjoys exploring new forms, particularly highlighting the play of texture in her creations.
Her main source of motivation lies in the happiness you feel when wearing the jewelry she designs. She aspires for her jewelry to become an extension of yourself, revealing your personality or simply reflecting your current state of mind. Whether you are looking for a unique piece to brighten up your evenings or a classic creation to wear every day , her jewelry collection is intended for all genders, timeless , and will meet all your expectations.
She wants to communicate her enthusiasm by sharing this idea with us: " Completing your outfits with jewelry that matches your intentions for the day is also a way to express your personality."
Wishing to offer jewelry designed to last, Louise uses only the finest materials, such as 925 silver , vermeil (925 silver plated or 18 carats) or 18k gold . To ensure an eco-responsible approach , she places great importance on the careful selection of materials from Europe, thus promoting short circuits. She ensures that the metals she uses as well as her packaging, respectful of fair standards and as far as possible, come from recycling.
All stages of manufacturing are carried out in her workshop and each piece of jewelry is created to order in order to promote slow production while offering, by definition, unique pieces . Only a handful of pieces are prefabricated, which allows her to have a small stock available for sale in her workshop-boutique located on the 1st floor of the Continental ( 41, Place de Brouckère, 1000, Brussels ). In addition, some of these pieces are ready to be shipped immediately via the "Ready to ship" section on her website.
